Ellinogermaniki Agogi, EA (Greece)
Ellinogermaniki Agogi (EA) is an educational organization of private law, officially recognized by the state. EA was the first Greek educational organization, which applied ODL in secondary level education in the year of 1993. It is an institutional member of EDEN (European Distance Education Network), of STEDE (Science Teacher Education Development in Europe) network and of ECSITE (European Networkof Science Center and Museums) network. Since 1998, the organization has the Research and Development (R&D) Department for the design, development and implementation of research activities in education, expanding the collaboration with universities and research institutions across Europe. The R&D Department acts as an interface between the pedagogical research, the technological innovation and the school community. The work of the R&D Department which currently employs 18 full time researchers focuses on the following areas:
In the Go-Lab Project EA leads the WP2 (Go-Lab federation of online labs) and WP7 (Large-scale pilots) work and is involved in the development of the Go-Lab Scenarios of Use Cases and in the development (and training) of the teachers community. EA will act as National Coordinator of the project’s implementation in the Greece. During the project Phase C, EA will coordinate the pilot activities in Bulgaria and Romania. |
