The Go-Lab Project organized a series of Visionary Workshops that were carried out in 10 European countries (Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Greece, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and the UK) between March and May 2013. The aim of these workshops was to demonstrate to participating teachers the use of remote and virtual labs, as well as to show how to combine those with theoretical background and educational resources. Further, presented Go-Lab mock-up was discussed and improved with help of participants. As the result of those workshops, participating teachers got an overall idea on the added value of online labs, on the importance and necessity of organizing them into a federation, and on how Go-Lab can support learning and teaching by providing such labs for classroom activities.
