Dear teachers, dear friends, it is our pleasure to announce the 3rd Go-Lab Contest for teachers “Promoting Multidisciplinary Science Teaching”! You are invited to apply the Go-Lab tools in your school and report on how you have used them in order to help your students to understand the connection between different scientific concepts you have taught them (in astronomy, biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, geology, physics and other science classes).
Two teachers from each participating country will be declared as winners of the contest. All winners will be awarded with a six-day trip to Greece next summer to attend the Go-Lab Summer School 2016.
Important dates:
November 11th, 2015: Launch of the contest
November 12th, 2015: Start of submission period
April 30th, 2016: End of submission period
May 31st, 2016: Announcement of winners per country
July 10th - 15th, 2016: Go-Lab Summer School
The main objective of the Go-Lab Contest 2016 is to inspire and encourage you in using Go-Lab and to give you new ideas of designing your classroom activities in a multidisciplinary setting. Additionally, it should encourage your creativity and imagination in order to implement the tools successfully with your students. It serves also as an opportunity to share your experience with other teachers. So take your chance and submit your presentation!
