The Go-Lab project had its own booth in the exhibition area at the 2nd Scientix Conference taking place in Brussels, Belgium from 24th October until 26th October 2014. The booth was very well visited, a big number of interested teachers of different subjects and from different countries was able to ask questions and get informed about the project, the portal and the pilot activities.

During this conference, two successful sessions using the Faulkes Telescope were held by a Go-Lab Team, Diana Dikke (IMC) and Fraser Lewis (USW). Other planed sessions had to be cancelled due to bad weather conditions. Another big success was a presentation of the Go-Lab project during the second plenary session to nearly 450 participants.

The Scientix Conference was one of the largest events in STEM education in Europe, with 70 talks, 14 workshops, 7 round-tables, 25 exhibitions stands and over 600 participants. The main aim was to showcase European and national initiatives in STEM education and to present different new tools, resources and methodologies in STEM education that were developed across Europe.
