Go-Lab Summer School 2016 (Update!)

  • Past Events

Dear teachers, dear friends, we have to announce an important update regarding the dates of the Go-Lab Summer School 2016! The Go-Lab Summer School 2016 in Attica, Greece, is going to start one week earlier than it was previously announced – which signifies from July 3th – 8th, 2016!

The participation in the Go-Lab Summer School 2016 will be fully covered by Go-Lab for the winners of the Go-Lab Contest “Promoting Multidisciplinary Science Teaching” for teachers. The contest has started on November 11th, 2015 and is still open for your submissions. We would like you to use our Go-Lab tools in your class and to report about your experience, benefits and issues with their implementation and permanent use. One of the objectives of the contest is to assist your students in understanding the relations between the diverse scientific concepts you have taught them in different subjects. Another goal is to encourage you in using Go-Lab to create multidisciplinary settings of your classroom activities.

Two teachers from each country participating in the contest will be declared as winners. So take the chance and submit your report until April 30th, 2016 to be part of the Go-Lab Summer School 2016! Further information about the registration for the contest can be found on the contest’s website or on the contest flyer.

But not only the winners of the contest are able to take part for free in the Summer School this year, but also teachers, who obtain an Erasmus+ grant. If you do not have such a grant yet, you can still apply for it until the February 2nd 2016, 12:00 (pm) Brussels time. The next steps you have to follow to apply for an Erasmus+ Grant can be checked here.
