
In conjunction with 12th International Conference on Web-based Learning (ICWL 2013) in Kenting, Taiwan the Go-Lab project organises a round table devoted to the impact of learning analytics, inquiry learning, MOOCs and e-books on online labs & STEM apps.
The Go-Lab project aims at introducing online labs beyond European countries, particularly in East Asian schools in order to increase the number of students who continue their studies in STEM fields. In scope of the round table, inquiry learning related research questions will be discussed with experts to share knowledge and to reach out to the large TEL community. A platform to obtain a better picture of online labs and STEM apps in Asia and Australia will be provided.
The round table will bring experts and TEL audience from academia and industries together to discuss the future of STEM learning, creation of an online lab federation, implementation of inquiry learning at schools, as well as the use of online lab apps in e-books and MOOCs. The ICWL participants are invited to attend this event discussing their ideas with experts from TEL, inquiry learning, mobile learning, and multimedia technology areas.

- How to apply online labs in MOOCs?
- How to create a federation of online labs and apps?
- How to implement online lab apps of smart devices?
- How to create a bartering platform for knowledge exchange?
The Program of the Round Table includes:
- Go-Lab project presentation and demos
