Rosetta is an ESA’s comet-chasing mission to comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. It will be the first mission ever to orbit a comet’s nucleus and land a probe on its surface. It will also be the first spacecraft to fly alongside a comet as it heads towards the inner Solar System, watching how this icy object is transformed by the warmth of the Sun!
Go-Lab successfully presented at the “Escola Secundaria Ferreira Dias” in Portugal

During the workshop “Introduction to the Inquiry Based Science Education approach and the use of eLearning tools”, the Go-Lab Project was presented at the “Escola Secundaria Ferreira Dias” in Lissbon, Portugal, 21st November 2013. Several online labs were demonstrated in the workshop like the Faulkes Telescope, SalsaJ and Crashing Galaxies.

New book: IT Innovative Practices in Secondary Schools!

University of Deusto has published the book “IT Innovative Practices in Secondary Schools: Remote Experiments”, composed by Olga Dziabenko and Javier García-Zubía. This book represents the topic of modernizing the school sector through IT and interactive experimental laboratories to bring scientific work closer to students.
Two Go-Lab national workshops were successfully completed by the University of Duisburg-Essen at November 20th 2013 in Essen, Germany. The Workshops in the framework of an advanced training symposium for teachers attracted over 20 schools and teachers.
